Tragedy struck as one of our own Coalition Lacrosse players committed suicide on October 29th, 2014. Luke Duncanson played on the 2014 U15 Coalition Army Ants team and he is missed every day. Coalition Lacrosse and Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is working with the Luke Duncanson Legacy because every life is worth living.
On September 19th, 2015 we worked together to host a Safe Schools Class with the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation and we had 50 people attend. We had teachers, coaches, nurses, and people in the community attend and it was a great day where everyone learned a lot. We want to work with the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation to provide this class to other school districts for FREE. How is it free? The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is about giving back to help the community and they provided the instructors, and lunch. They also made sure the class counted for continuing educational credits for teachers accredited through Ferris State University. Watch this short video about the class below.
